WeldWalls x Margie’s Pop Up Show 2026

Theme: “Homecoming - Still Life”

Calling all artists! As part of the 2026 WeldWalls Mural Festival, we’re curating a pop-up art show of small works at Margie’s Java Joint. This is your chance to participate in the festival, showcase your style, and connect with our broader Greeley arts community.

Our broader festival theme is Homecoming, and the theme of the pop up show is Still Life. We’re open to any way you might interpret this theme, bringing in your own style, medium, background, and personal context.

Important Dates and Info:

  • All works must be designed for an 8x8” size panel. Final pieces must be 2D (i.e. mixed media, collage, paint, pastel, pencil all accepted). Festival will provide panels and will attach mounting hardware for display onto completed pieces.

  • The show will officially open at Margie’s Java Joint on Friday, September 18th from 5-8pm.

  • The submission deadline is Friday, August 21st. Artists will be notified if they are selected by Wednesday, August 26.

  • All canvases must be picked up from Margie’s in advance between August 28th and September 4, during normal business hours, daily 7am-5pm.

  • Your completed work must be dropped off September 7-12, during normal business hours, daily 7am-5pm.

Prizes and Incentives:

  • Festival will award up to 3 prize packages: a “Best In Show,” a “People’s Choice Award,” and a “Festival Favorite.”

  • Artists may all price their work as desired if they choose to make it available for sale. Artists will keep 100% of sales proceeds. Festival will help facilitate artwork sales.

  • All participating artists will receive complimentary beverages the evening of the show opening on Friday, September 18th.

To submit your work, email the following to info@weldwalls.com:

  • Your name and preferred contact information (email address, phone number)

  • A design mock-up for your proposed 8x8” piece (can be a rough sketch)

  • A short paragraph or artist statement on the direction of the piece under the theme of “Homecoming - Still Life.”

  • A link to your portfolio or any previous work you’d like to share (if applicable; not required)
